From the 25th of May 2018 the GDPR became effective and we would like to outline our reasons for processing your data. They are as follows:
· Common Threads collects and securely hold contact details of our participants. This information has been and will only be collected with your direct consent as a participant of the Common Threads creative workshops.
· Common Threads hold your data with a legitimate interest so that we can get in touch to advise of any changes. Holding this information keeps you informed of any changes with the group: changes of date, cancelations or unforeseen circumstances, and therefore keeping you informed as a participant of the group.

We collect information about you when you register with us at workshop sessions, contact us by phone, email or in person, or when we contact you and ask for your consent for us to hold this information. We may collect the following information:

· Contact information including email address, telephone number and postal address
How will we use the information about you?
We collect information about you so we can contact you if there are any changes to our programme or how we need to operate.
We may also contact you to inform you of new Common Threads events and activities you may be interested in.
Common Threads will not share your information with any other organisation.
